On October 29, the Semantiks team brought DevDay Exchange Community to Mexico Tech Week. Our founder, Adrian Sanchez Castro, launched the gathering through his role as a Codex Ambassador, with our team helping bring it to life. The idea was simple: get developers, founders and builders in the same room to explore the announcements and see what they could build with them.El 29 de octubre, el equipo de Semantiks llevó DevDay Exchange Community a Mexico Tech Week. Nuestro fundador, Adrian Sanchez Castro, impulsó el encuentro como Codex Ambassador, con el equipo trabajando junto a él para hacerlo realidad. La idea era sencilla: reunir a developers, founders y builders para explorar los anuncios y descubrir qué podían construir con ellos.

The early start didn’t stop the community. We received around 500 registrations and welcomed approximately 100 attendees at AI House for a morning of demos, questions and conversation.El horario temprano no frenó a la comunidad. We explored Codex, agents, model selection, evaluations and ChatGPT plugin extensions through the questions that come up when building software: Which model fits the job? How do we know an agent is doing it well? Our team put Semantiks on screen for a live demo of agent analytics and evaluations. Craig Dennis, from OpenAI’s Developer Experience team, joined us to talk about Codex, computer use and agents that use tools to complete tasks. Two opportunities for startups stood out: using Codex to iterate faster while developing software, and bringing products into ChatGPT through plugin extensions.
